Default GTM TT Turn key for HR

i am looking to get a twin turbo kit for my 07 roadster, and i'm interested in the GTM kit, but i see they are not active on the forums here, and their website looks like it hasn't been updated in a while.

has anyone dealt with them recently? (late 2013-current)

If you are set on getting the GTM then you can order it from z1motorsports since they are a dealer and they can deal with all the back and fourth contact that everyone has a hard time with.

Stay away from GTM as said search. Awful communication years to halfass get done basic jobs don't stand behind their work. I would contact sasha for a BP kit or as also said deal with z1 call and talk to them

i did read a lot of what was going on with them on the forums, and thats what made me ask. what i gather from what i have read is the company is ****, but the product is good.

also i searched around about the BP mid mount, but i couldn't seem to find anything for an HR engine. how does it compare on a stock engine (will be building an engine next, but i plan to take my time on that and collect the necessary parts as i go)

Stay as far away as possible from the BP kit... Unless you want a nightmare. I am not sure of GTM's validity, but anything is better than BP, trust me, bought that crap cuz it was cheap and have been kicking myself ever since.

Gixx I may be new here but I have read your situation. I asked for a comparison on Bp mid turbo to a gtm Tt kit. Not your propaganda fear campaign.

You have read my situation? If that is true then you will be careful what you do with your money, just lookin out, but hey, I am sure you can make a bad decision on your own

GTM has sold thousands of kits versus the few that this guy makes in his basement. Do your research is all I am saying. Cheaper is NEVER better, just more affordable in the short term.

So the beauty about this is it shows that regardless of vendor there are always bad experiences.. As well as good. So like I said beware discount kits like BP.

I would rather deal with a bastard that has a quality kit, than a walking pointer stick that makes kits in his basement. either way do your research on the kits.. You not buying it to have your bra padded or to make friends, your buying it to perform. And the BP kit fails on that level IMO.

Also GTM is active in the 370 subgroup, check them out there.

Default GTM

Their kits pipes don't fit well either, for me....Sam is good at taking money, saying its instockand it isn't...built my striker block w/o rod clearance, stole parts off my car and called black paint ceramic coating and charged for it..

BEWARE!

GTM kits routinely show up months late, missing parts, never line up or fit how they should, and require way more fabrication/ fitting than they should. Most established shops know this and charge accordingly for the install.

GTM has a very distinct patern of being very active, positive, and promotional on forums selling hopes and dreams.. once they take a bunch of money and burn a bunch of customers they move on. Maybe consider it a cost of doing business??

This customer has said great things about my product and support on multiple occasions, and then turned crazy even after I replaced a few parts at no cost to him (with a turnaround of only a couple of days). These were destroyed/damaged due to negligence during and after the install of the kit...and possibly a faulty turbo from Precision which was a warranty repair.

There is nothing "cheap" about the kit...unless one can consider Tial BOV, Tial wastegate, Precision turbo, Exa scavenge pump, Bosch injectors, UpRev, HPX MAF sensor...ect "cheap". I do not have any overhead (sales, rent, shipper/receiver..ect), so I can have a lower price than the competition.

Just thought I mention it

As for the HR turbo kit, I have a local customer who will come in this spring for a complete twin scroll install. I will be installing the same kit on that car as I do on the 370Z's. The kit should fit just fine, and no alterations to the vehicle will be needed, just like with the original mid mount kit.

The 370z kit comes with a 30 row oil cooler, 750cc fuel injectors and a 340lph fuel pump standard...

This is the layout:

As with the mid mount, nothing is below the sub-frame:

WOW!! I feel so lucky. I ordered a GTM Stage 2 Supercharger from Z1 last year. I know it's a sup and you're talking Turbo, but same company. Anyway, I didn't know anything about GTM other than people that had their stuff were really happy with it, saw a few posts from people saying they had bad experiences with them

Z1 was quality all the way, and I do mean ALL the way! From being helpful and informative, to letting me hang out at their shop, to the awesome install and tune they did on my car. I went in with a totally stock 2007 HR and came out with a badass 503rwhp monster!! Those guys are like family now!

GTM... it took months from when I ordered the kit at Z1 until it finally arrived. That being said, all the parts were there, the install went without a hitch, everything looks quality, the car is running mint. Did I mention 503rwhp on an otherwise totally stock HR?

So like I said I feel lucky. I've heard a lot of bad things about GTM, for me the experience was totally worth it. Other than the time it took to get the kit shipped to Z1, I can't really complain. Just providing my experience if it helps you any with your decision
