Default FI + Light weight Flywheel

hey whats up..

pretty sure my stock clutch life is coming to an end..
been riding with it on my Vortech setup for 2 years..
I dont beat the car.. but I do pull the car hard here and there..

it weird cause the clutch is not splipping..ive done low rmp pulls in 3rd, 4th etc.. and it doesnt slip.
but the friction point front dead stop in 1st gear is very high..

anyways..all that to say.. Im looking into the JWT clutch.. and contemplating if I should get the combo with the Flywheel..

but I heard that its not worth it to get the Flywheel when you are forced induction.?

so looking for some feedback from anyone currently running with aftermarket flywheel with Vortech, Turbo etc..

thanks.

You can adjust your pedal to your liking. As the clutch wears the pedal will change.

The Stock Clutch will not last with a Vortech for too long.

The JWT Combo Clutch and Flywheel works just fine for the street in the 400whp range, and is a good step up from stock, and feels just like stock. I had their combo and it worked well, but tore it up at the drag strip with 500WHP plus.

hi.. thanks for confirming this..

a buddy of mine.. who is a long time Z enthusiast.. said the same thing.. that the pedal can be adjusted..? how do you do that..?

as mentioned.. the current stock clutch is not slipping.. I just noticed the friction point in first gear got higher recently..?

if thats all it takes.. to get a lower friction point.. i'll just do that..
im sure the clutch is wearing as normal.. but I have zero signs of slippage.

For drag racing I prefer a heavier flywheel e.g. OEM. For road racing / auto-x lightweight would def. be better.
