Changed catch can and now burning tons of oil?
I recently purchased a twin turbo z about 6 months ago with APS base kit on it. Car is in really good condition and compression and everything was spot on. The previous owner had a cheap ebay vented catch can with no baffling so I decided to change it to a mishimoto non vented can. The car started burning oil like crazy and two days after installing the new catch can I burned 2 quarts of oil. Any ideas on what happening?
This is the one I installed: http://www.mishimoto.com/mishimoto-a...catch-can.html

Where are you drawing vacuum from? You do realize you cannot hook up to the intake manifold since that sees boost. Pressurizing crank case with no breather so oil being pushed out through turbos, likely on intake side (messy!) and exhaust side. You can draw vacuum from turbo intakes but obviously that requires some modification to the piping (bungs). Easier to just do what the above post indicates and go back to an open breather.
