Kinetix Velocity Manifold

Kinetix Velocity Manifold
I'm looking for some imput on what you guys think of them. I've read the people who are N/A loose power down low and in the mid range but have gains up top. Haven't seen alot from people who are F/I. So thats why im asking in here and not in the regular intake thread.
I've heard about the not so spectacular welds that break under boost, I would hope my procharger cant do that...lol
I would also think it should stay cooler then the stock intake since its so much smaller and lighter also it being a SS should help.

I don't have forced induction installed yet so this can be ignored if you choose.
I installed my kinetix on my NA car and felt zero improvement as well as zero loss of power.
As far as the Kinetix breaking under boost, I believe that is if you are pushing a good bit over 20psi of boost. Which is A LOT.

Sometimes you gotta just buy it and hope for the best. It looks awesome, and ive seen lots of threads with positive reviews on boosted velocity use. If it had better reviews for NA use I probably would have gotten one. I have the V+ and its pretty ok. That velocity just makes the engine bay look so much better.

I think what you will find is that there are positive and negative reviews on every single part out there. You just have to consider what you think you will enjoy the most.
I think that if you buy a Kinetix, you cannot assume the welds will crack. Although that does happen, it isn't the case most of the time. And if it does I would imagine Kinetix will help you out with it

Save your time and money. Listen to the other OGs. Stock with spacer is best bang for the buck for the vq35de and the broadest powerband increase. Cosworth if you want the looks and while you do get a bit more top end it is at the expense of mid range torque. CJM if you have the cash and the set up to go all out for high rpm power (that means a front facing throttle body too!).

I have the kinetix intake on my boosted Z,the manifold is always cooler than the rest of the engine,so I would assume the temps for the intake are lower. Also I love the fact that there's like 7 bolts to remove the entire intake plenum instead of like 30 lol.Gives easier access to more things also.
