Been awhile since I updated haven't had a whole lot of time to work on it. I did finally get all fuel lines done. I also was able to put intake on and most of charge pipes. Here a pic of how she sits now. This sunday I will finish the exhaust. After the exhaust is done and out of the way I will be able to focus on priming the motor, finishing up some small stuff and then crank it over. Keep this updated as I go on.

Don't know if anyone is following anymore but hopefully someone will chime in. Just started car up for first time and I was trying to find out what oil psi I should be seeing at idle. I'm seeing 25/30lbs at idle. Does anyone have a solid answer on this. Running the nismo pump if it makes any difference. Thxs

sounds right. Typically 30 at idle, will vary depending on oil weight.

K well today I went over it and at start up it was 60lbs then after warm up 25lbs then after was completely hot it was idling at 14lbs. I have done some research and seems guys are saying 14 is normal after complete warm up. Idk. Give is gas and at 2500/3000rpms it jumps to. 35/40lbs. Guess it's ok idk. Guess it doesn't help I'm on edge cause of fresh build.

Still following ... 14psi seems low but I wouldnt freak out. The 60psi at startup seems right as you are in your post-start enrichment (assuming higher RPMs?) 30psi after that first minute sounds right.

edit...Reference FSM, LU-7

engine warm / no load

idle - 14psi
2000rpm - 43psi
6000rpm - 57psi

now, you're running blowers and you should factor that in ... but it sounds like you are ballpark

great progress btw!

Thxs bud. Figured it was ok. I did end up running factory oil psi sensor just for another per caution. Like was on in priming then went out and hasn't come back on since. All and all. Motor runs great!! Few bugs I have to work out but all and all it's good. Have a check engine light with one code for the tank sensor. I didn't put the resistor in line yet. So that's good!!

I don't know if youve kept up on my build (its been slow) but a clogged feed line destroyed my driver side blower and caused some play in my passenger side blower ... Ive added a feed line filter and adding pressure sensors at the blowers to keep an eye on pressure ...

any videos of the car running?

Ugh really???? Man that's what I stress about!!! Took the feed lines off today to get to the oil psi sensor that was leaking and I would have thought oil would have poured out but it didn't. Very slowly dropped out. Idk. Nah I haven't man. Haven't really been on here. Been super busy. Being pulled in all directions!!!! Lol. Post the link up if you can. I'll shoot a video of if running when I go back to shop. Gotta fix a leak in the fuel fitting first.

So motor seems to run strong. Do have some bugs to work out. I did have a check eng light on for tank temp sensor. I had to solder in a 2.4k ohm resistor. (I will take a pic of how I did it exactly once I know I'm good. Think I am but need to run it again just to make sure light stays out. ) other then that I had to order a mocal sandwich plate. My old one just will not seal do to the way I have it clocked this time cause of pan. The thermostat inside the plate I think is causing it not to seal. Most important I have some fuel leaks in the feed lines that feed the rails. Junk improved racing fittings. Smh. I'm just getting rid all together and making new ones with fragola fittings. I don't want to play around with fuel. Other then that seems good. I will update when I have more.

Finally got my fittings and line for catch can. Running an open can to avoid circulating crank case vapors back into intake. Went with a vented baffled catch can. Happy how it came out. Going back together slowly but surly.

If anyone is following this and is running stainless steel braided lines for fuel feed and return do u have fuel vaper leeching from the lines? No leaks just the smell of fuel. I researched on other forums and found others that have used this line have this issue. For hours yesterday I searched. I removed the intake once again to find nothing. Only to find that the lines themselves have the faint fuel smell. All lines are new and have not been used. Just trying to figure out if this is normal/common with these type of lines. What I read seems like it is.

Can't help with those lines. But I did have leaks at Y connection and one at fuel rail.

Just wanted to say that VISUALLY your build is stunning. Looked like you filled in radiator core support and it made a world of diff. I have a G as well with a cosworth but yours is on a whole diff level. Guess ur planning on showing?

Good job man!!

There is a special lining for some of the fuel hoses to make them not smell. I believe CJM uses it in all their kits.

Yes I believe your right. A buddy of mine purchased cjm kit and it had the sheathing in them. I'm guess now that's what that's for. I drove myself nuts yesterday looking for a fuel leak. Like literally NUTS!!! Found nothing. Nothing other then the lines had a fuel smell all the way from front to back.

^are you 100% sure it's the fuel lines? When I insalled my new injectors one of them wasnt sitting right and squirted just a tiny bit of fuel but it was enough to cause the fuel scent.

good work - keep going!

Ya know I went over that as well. I did lose one of my spacers and had to use a different one I got when I had my injectors serviced. Seems like the passanger side was seated as far as drivers side. I took intake off and trimmed tit down a bit but still was sitting like it was. I pressurized the system and looked there as well cause I thought the same thing. Nothing tho. I am gonna get new plastic spacers soon as I can find where to get them from.
