Default used stillen supercharger cold feet

I found a seller that is selling a stillen super charger hr tuner kit for $4775 shipped . the kit comes with 6 oem denso 370 spark plugs ,new walbro 255 fuel pump ,new throttle body gaskets and upgraded turbo smart BOV. The kit has around 5K miles on it.

I would just need to buy injectors . I was very stoked about getting the kit, but now im getting cold feet. I can get a new tuner kit for 6041 shipped. I'm leaning towards the new kit but that 1266 I would save is very tempting. I've been messaging the seller and he is selling the kit due to going the turbo route

anyone else found themselves in this same predicament and what did you end up doing. The seller is also in another state so that's also a issue . I would be purchasing the used kit thru paypal .

Also if anyone knows where I can get a better price for a new tuner kit please free to chime in or send a pm

thanks

I'm weighing the same options. Leaning towards new to be honest. Doesn't seem like the best thing to cheap out on

This really isnt a stillen supercharger similar to their version 1 roots kit.

OP, correct me if I'm wrong but this is the Vortech blower that Stillen packaged together??

The price seems high...in the $4k to $6k range I'd go single / mid-mount turbo ...

What single options are there for an HR besides the boosted performance?

[QUOTE=ashram;10863080] this kit does use the vortech super charger , I've decided to go with the used kit . But will be getting a compression and leak down text before the purchase . The stillen will suit my power needs for a while. I'm not looking to go the turbo route

compression test came back with good results! I ended up going with the used kit , it will be delivered tomorrow! Also bought injectors. Now i am shopping around for gauges and a transmission cooler. Jeez I never new that gauges could be so expensive . I think im just gonna go with a boost gauge and air/fuel gauge.
