Henry at Motorsports Dynamics on Arden Way. They tune GReddy too and have a Dyno. EJ also knows and vouches for them and he had lunch with Tadishi at the last SEMA.

Should of went to the track. I staged with a 2002 Yellow Mustang GT (V8.) He ran an embarrasing 13.8 and he has two more cylinders!!

ya and what im saying is ROSEVILLE AUTOMALL had one sitting on there floor for sale with full warrenty from the factory BRAND SPANKIN NEW......ZERO MILES........so basically they are selling the install with a full warrenty.............at least FUTURE NISSAN at the ROSEVILLE AUTOMALL WAS. I can foresure say NO DEALER has sold a VORTECH or ATI kit from the dealership and warrentied it. May have installed it but not warrentied it. The difference with a VORTECH or ATI kit compared to a STILLEN unit is HUGE as far as reliability goes and that is the FACTS. Yes I did purchase a VORTECH kit but I dont care becuase I am a person who is very very causious and I cant spell either very good......

 

I would think that that particular dealer did it on their own and charged enough extra to cover the warranty work anyway...I wouldnt expect for many more dealers to do the same..

 

Cool just got off the phone with them and they are familiar with Splitsecond and are ready for a day of tuning my car!!!!! Here we go boys.........My goal is a clean 350rwhp, nothing more or nothing less. that should be a easy 12secZ........LOL.............

 

WORD........Henry is the bomb.........dude has 15 years of experience in hi-performance imports..........personally knows the engineers at HKS.......and has had lunch with tadashi at SEMA........if you put your car in anyone's hands in the Sacramento area, make them his........talk to the guy........his knowledge of imports is baffling........i'm pretty technical, and this guy just blows me out of the frickin water.........a true expert

You what, I really didn't trust the Vortech kit at first. Then I heard about his splitsecond box that they are using, that is TUNEABLE!

Coming from the guys that made that funky FMU with no tuneablity, this is news. I'm also thinking to install myself and take it to a dyno with R4 software on the side.

 

So Kevin Future has a Vortech Z? I bought my car there. What color is it?

 

I was told by a freind they did about 2 months ago and it was Black.........I beleive they also had one in red, not sure if it has the supercharger on it, but it had all the ground effects and everything Stillen....they where asking 45,000 dollars...lol....some dip **** will buy it though......hey 12sec..........have you had your car dynoed with the current set up you have???? and if so what was it and what 1/4 time did you run with it.

 

Nope. Not BS. My stage 2 Spec V turbo kit is being shipped this week. Set backs happen to the best companies. Particularly when you are launching more than a supercharger for the 350Z.

And in an earlier post, you said to "trust" you that DW is BS--why is that? Do you have some secret information that no one else has?

How about trust ME. Even thought I don't drive a 350, I'll be sure to post dynos etc. of the Dream Workes stage 2 SST turbo kit here. Then, you can get back to me with your knowlege. Sound fair?

 

what is this split second box you guys are talking about? i keep seeing it posted, and have an clue that it is probably a black box, like an SAFC, but what exactly is it? is it shipped with these kits?

those are soem pretty impressive numbers for the SC guys.

Turbo kit.........wow I thought they where coming out with a supercharger.............. but man if you say its a Turbo I trust you........

 

yes it includes the intercooler and the splitsecond box is the device that retards the timing and adjust a/f ratios so you dont blow up..........from my understanding, Vortech added extra safe margins in the kit from the factory as far as retarding the timing, thus you only seeing 320-330rwhp from the factory kits..........tune the timing and A/F ratios a bit and you can get 360rwhp pretty safely I beleive. You could push it beyond that with little ease and still be safe probably. R4 is the windows based software you can get directly from www.splitsec.com to tune the box with. I will be having fun in about 5 days..... .........get plugs and a clutch if you gonna do it.
