So let me get this straight. I could go buy the vortech kit, slap it on my g35, and lay down 320-330 rwhp without dyno tuning it and it would be very reliable and safe?

As with all of their kits, the vortech is rigged to be ultra safe out of the factory, running very rich to make sure nothing stupid happens. IF you want to tune it, that is up to you, just make sure someone knows what they are doing when they tune it.

So yes, you can run the factory setup, but like many others here, getting it tuned brings so much more power that it is irresistable to having it tuned.

Default Puting stock parts back on...

Fluidz,
I think I read that you are parting with your UR Underdrive pulley. Are you concerned that having the UR installed it would not be compatible with the Vortech? Is it possible that there will be significant increase in boost to be unsafe with the UR pulley installed? I'm asking since I have the UR pulley installed (among other bolt ons) and that I am also heavily considering getting the Vortech. I've steered away from turbo kits since I'd like to keep the Stillen headers I have already installed.

I am getting rid of it because I was advised by a lot of people to get rid of it. I listen very good when it comes to F/I.

also an underdrive pulley would make the car produce less boost. Bigger crank pulley = smaller supercharger pulley = more boost.

Smaller crank pulley = less boost

You know your right. I took my blower off my car today and I refuse to drive it now. This car is no fun without it, I'm serious.
