Talking My ATI dyno result.

Its finally done. Im happy. If i add high flow cats and an exhaust, do you guys think i will need another dyno run or am i pretty safe in the rich zone as it is? Sorry for the light tonner but im gonna make a better copy with the scanner at work tomorrow.

It looks like your car goes WAY WAY rich after 3500rpms...tune that sucker and you should see around 370rwhp....

I would dyno again if you install more breathing parts just to be safe...plus you've got plenty of room to run a little leaner.

Did turbochargers.com do the tunning, or just the Dyno? Who did the install?

This is what i ended up with the tuner doing the runs and A/F. He felt he wanted to play it very safe on my car i guess.

You can do almost as much damage from running that rich too!!Thats WAY rich!!!That kit made 383whp on my friends car with only a Borla dual...Tune that sucker to 11.8 all across..Your killing your TQ man...It will feel like a new car when you retune it...

We just used turbochargers.com's dyno, Jason at Autologic did the tunning.

What kind of damage am i gonna encounter running this rich? What rpm range do you think i can lean up? Should i aim for 11.8 all across where my A/F dipped into the 10's?

11.8 to 12.3 all the way till about 5800-redline go rich 11.5 or so..
To rich can wash your cylinder walls and burn up rings and valve seals...Not AS bad a lean but still not great for the motor..You will also see a DOOKIE load of more power from 3500-5800rpms...

Ok, i will leave the car in neutral and slowly add some gas to the car and watch the DFMU LEDs go off and just move the bars down like 5 % in the pig rich areas for now until i can get more time witht he tuner. All this makes me wanna just go buy an A/F guage.

NO!!!dont do that..The DFMU only works under load...Must be on the dyno and you NEED to monitor the A/F with a WIDEBAND O2..A regular a/f guage is about as useful as an icecube in Alaska..Please leave it to the professionals!!!Tell the guy that tuned it that you are not happy with the tune...You could have got more HP with stock DFMU settings..what exactly did he change???

If you had a wideband O2 you could tune it yourself with the help of a friend and a long wide-open road that you could haul *** on.

Your tuner said to leave it like that to be safe? Damn, I'd get a new tuner for sure lol. Did he not know how to use the DFMU? Like daking said, don't touch it leave it to the professionals.

if you already have autologic... I highly suggest coming down to murrillo motorsports in SanAantonio

he will tune it well and flat

whoever gave you that curve did a **** poor job, sorry

my AF for example...but this is an all motor tune

Too much fuel will wash the cylinders of oil and kill the rings and cylinder bores. The raw fuel in the oil will also kill you're rod and main bearings. Daking350 is right...it can be just as destructive running too rich as too lean.

Damn it, this guy is suppose to be one of the best Honda tuners in town both NA and FI.

How rich is bad, 9:1 A/F or lower? And how long does it take for these types of damage to occur?
