Depends on what you want. Do you need data logging? If so the cheapest would be the Techedge or LM1. Do you just need a nice display? Go AEM.

Just a note to anyone that is considering an M-300 and wants to put it in the empty NAV compartment with a reen CF plate. It won't work. The M-300 is too deep even if you remove the plastic box in the NAV compartment. I had to have PLX "modify" mine to have a separate display unit.

Question, for the AEM one, does it have a play back function? if not, how to you keep eye on the readout and RPM and road at the same time during WOT?

Can M-300 datalog? Cuz in the website it says "non-datalog"? Or does that mean non-wireless-datalog, but can still log with plug-ins?

Oh and how long is the unit? with its box.

m200 m250 and m300 can't log data. It only has an linear analog 0-5 volt output for A/F ratio.

Dimensions are also included on this URL

Thanks!

So basically the M500 can log data like the dyno with A/F readings and ratios? If so, then its very usable for A/F tuning right? Is the data log really nessassary?

Im trying to decide to go with the M300 or M500...

It's useful if you know what to do with the information.

You can avoid dyno's altogether that way. Just grab a buddy to make sure you don't go lean. Stomp on the loud pedal, log the data. Find out from the data where you need to make changes in the fuel curve. Start process over.

Not only is it cheaper, but it's being tuned to real world conditions, as opposed to in a bay with a fan blowing on the front of the car. Biggest problem is finding a place where you can wind out the car to redline in 4th or 5th gear.

Ok, since I just ordered my Zeitronix nt-2 unit about 2 hours ago I am looking for ways in which I can tune my A/F with my GReddy eManage. I know what I need to do for the most part af far as once I get the data, I am just no too clear on how I actually obtain the data.

I was told that I could do some WOT runs in 3rd gear to log my A/F, not 4th or 5th gear. Is this incorrect? Will the A/F ratio not be accurate?

My other question has already been answered which was what should my A/F be reading under normal driving. I guess I'll hope it says 14.7:1.
