Default Greddy Intercooler

Is there a intercooler kit available that will work with the Greddy TT that allows the metal bumper to be installed on a G35?
Could you install two smaller intercoolers? Would it be expensive to do this?

You could always measure the area yourself and have it made somewhere. The APS kit that is coming out in September retains the stock metal support. You could look at there measurments.

JWT TT system uses 2 small intercoolers and keeps the front bumper support.

The Greddy TT unit is too big to use the bumper support...not possible.

If you want the bumper brace...you have two options. Also, note, the thickness/width of the intercooler is not the problem..it is the endtanks and plumbing on the passenger side.

1) You can have you IC converted from a dual intake to a lower single intake, and then have the plumbing joined together off the turbos...probably right before it enters the intercooler.

2). Or you could have the intercooler, again, modded to allow for two intakes..but both on the lower portion of the intercooler. You'd still have to custom fabricate some piping to get it all to work...but its doesnt look too terrible difficult. I like this option better, so you dont have the turbulence of joining turbo compressor pipes. I'd rather have two individual pipes heading in to the intercooler.

Spearco has an excellent customer intercooler operation at Garrett....and you could send them your IC with specific instructions on what you want them to do.

The upper intake pipe on the passenger side is what blocks the mounting holes on the bumper support. Oh, and you'd have to kill or relocate the new washer fluid resevoir...that has to go too...but who really cares, I can't remember the last time I used mine.

Yes I think Id prefer to give up the washer fluid versus the bumper.
Does Greddy state if there kit is intended for off road use only? Removing that bar is really dangerous since it distributes energy in an accident. They are setting themselves up for possible legal problems if someone was in hurt or killed from a front impact.
Thanks for the info, I am going to check with Spearco tomorrow.

The power enterprise kit allows you to keep your bumper brace.

The Greddy hit is stated as "off road use only", but they are applying for CARB exemtpion ...so go figure. CARB only checks emissions, not safety equipment, so it could get CARB cert, but still not have that brace. I agree....the risk of liability seems very high.....
