Default Dumb question....

Okay...maybe this is a stupid question, but if you install a FI system that is not carb certified, what do you do when it comes time to pass smog inspection? In Nevada they do a visual inspection as well as a sniffer test.

Good question... I'd assume you'd have to take it off, or find a shop that doesn't give a rats *** and passes you.

That's what I was afraid off......finding such a shop here may be pretty tough. I wouldn't want to uninstall/reinstall a system every year.

Vortech has told me they'll be carb certified within eight months. Seems like the best option at this point. At least you don't have change the hood (Stillen).
