yes the tdo5-18g turbos can boost 25 psi they are very large turbos.

See the compressor chart where on the last page of this thread https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....129#post913129 the chart labeled tdo5-18g
with the red dots going up it

i made an engine demand line on the flow chart and you can see at 6500 rpm shift points the turbos are in the heart of their efficiency @ 15-18psi and will probably be so into 20 psi and start to creep out side the sweetspot up to 25psi however the giant intercooler will offset this by alot.

The tdo5 18g can actually obtain over 32psi however on our engine the turbo woult hit the choke line long before it would reach that boost pressure.

With proper tuning these turbos will indeed supply 25 psi of boost pressure on a stock block with forged rods and pistons with proper tuning and u will probably have 700whp +!!!

at 25 psi you sure as hell had better have your cylinders re-sleeved. the VQ's open deck will have your cylinder sleeves rattling in your block long before 25 psi.

No very reliable sources have said it should withstand at least 800 hp including SQP racing.

They are very heavy duty iron sleeves from the factory check out kudos new thread.

interesting.

I've seen pics of the sleeves, and I realize they're strong.. I just have this thing for reliability..

but if people have them running at high power levels for a long time with no major issues, then hey.. I'm more than willing to admit mistake.

No offense, but I would atleast deck the block, especially with that much boost. I have a thing for reliability also, and investing that much money into your car you might as well deck the block. Just my opinion.

that's precisely what I was saying. 800hp on stock sleeves may work, but I'm skeptical about the reliability. I'm curious to see what SGP is capable of.. it sounds like they have some interesting things coming soon.
