That is one reason why I have a Fuel Pressure Gauge as well as a wideband in the car. If the FMU is not working I can tell right away because there will not be the ~15 psi increase in fuel pressure.

bump....can anyone tell me how the male and female (elbow) connectors are held together. Mine came apart and i'm not sure how they fit back together. Seems like they aren't secure.
