Yeah, your A/F is perfect, IMO. No tuner no matter how good is going to be able to significantly improve on your A/F (the blue and red lines anyway).

I think changing the timing to my suggested values will definitely help.

tig488.... you and everyone else wants to see my maps! And I've been a slack @$$ about getting them downloaded. I promise, I'll go grab the PC connector I need this week and get the software loaded on my laptop.

I have Zimbo's number, so if I have any questions about how to get the readings, I'll give him a call. Maybe I can make this a project for the coming weekend.

zimbo.

you see on my pic where the A/F starts to go a little lean right around 5200 rpms, in order for me to make some adjustments for that, i should change settings at 5000 rpms right? or 5500?

mcduck.

id appreciate it, i tried one of enthuzed old maps where he got 394, on my car it only made like 350, of course he has a 350 and i have a G, it might not help, but id like to look over yours. thanks.

tig, yes you can bring down that hump at 5250 by lowering the value at 5500 on your A/F map by 0.2 or so.

One thing to keep in mind is that if you set all of the cells in a given row to the same value (i.e. the entire 5500 row is set to something like 9.1 from 0 psi to 10 psi), then you are going to see the sinusoidal pattern in your A/F plot due to the way the SS box works.

It is IMO not worth the effort required to remove the sinusoid so you will see a slight dip in A/F on the "even" numbers (i.e. 5500, 6000, etc).

Another thing to remember is that mcduck is going to be burning a lot more fuel due to all of the perf mods he has installed. His map is likely to be too rich for you (as mine was).

would a TS reflash help me at all, other than raises the redline, you think they might be able to smooth the curve.

Other than the raised redline, NO it wouldn't help your existing curve IMO.
