Default Vortech Fuel line failure

Seems I'm the victim of another fuel line problem. The piece of rubber hose that is supplied that runs from the second pump had started coming away from the outer rubber sleeve. This caused me to break down in rush our traffic in a really awkward place. The kit is superb quality, dont know why this crumby hose is supplied with the kit.
Dont have any pictures right now, but will get some when the car is next on the ramp.
Dangerous and uneccessary fault on this kit.
Will be contacting Vortech.
How many others are going to get this??????

3500 miles. The hose had actually come apart from the core, sliding back letting the fuel come out.
Done a temporary fix, renewing the whole lot next week.

Are your fuel lines wire tied? I drove mine for a a few days then went back over each and every line to make sure nothing was rubbing.

Update...Check your FMU!!!! I bought a recalibration kit for it. $39.00 from Vortech. The washer in mine was corroded!Hell it looked like it was left in salt water. I guess the washer would stick and the PSI would blow the fuel line of the auxillary fuel pump. All Vortech guys take alook at this!

One more reason I got rid of the FMU and went to the return fuel system and FPR instead

I agree with booger - love the Vortech unit - the fuel solution with the full kit just does not get it done for me - need bigger injectors, return fuel system and FPR....
