Toasted my fuel injectors
Not sure really, but Vortechs' old FMU(fuel management unit) used to use "discs" to ramp fuel pressure in 3:1, 4:1, 5:1, etc. ratios. However, here I've only read about the "washer" that Vortechs new inline pumps use to modify the ramp rate.
If you still use the Vortech FMU disc equation, for base fuel pressure of 52psi, an 8:1 ratio, and at 9psi, you'd have 1/2(base fuel pressure)+(PSIxRatio), so
1/2(52)+(9x8)=97.5psi of fuel pressure....that's way too high in my opinion.
A 6:1 would produce 85.5psi, which is as high as I'd personally ever go.
That would make:
290cc-->~407cc~372bhp
380cc-->~533cc~487bhp
440cc-->~617cc~564bhp
510cc-->~715cc~654bhp
Using a "safe" recommended 80% DC and BSFC=0.50 for SC'd cars.
