Miaplaya,
So what is the price that Turbonetics will be selling the kit for?

The dyno is as I feared.....max hp in the really high part of the rpm band.....just like the centrifugal SC's. Not really useable as a daily driver. I think that's the reason why some of the SC guys on the board have switched to TT's. I am going to have to agree with APS's assessment of the single TT set-up on the Z.... not really the best set-up for this motor. TT all the way.

Actually how exactly do you consider that as unusable on a daily driver...Your making 340 at 5000 RPM. What there are no rodes where you are that allow you to go over 4k?

Be realistic......who takes their car to the redline every shift....it doesn't happen. And if you do ....then maybe it's the kit for you. If I get all my power in the last 1500 rpm's of my rev band...it's just not useable for city driving. My opinion might change if the torque came on like a Stillen kit low at the bottom....but with the single turbo approach it is not gonna happen. MIAPLAYA....I realize you have a deep love for this kit and defend it at every turn.....but this dyno is just like a SC blower dyno. I would just prefer my power and torque to start lower where you drive the car in day to day driving....around 3000-3500 rpm's.

Heres a dyno of my car from a couple months ago....
After looking at the dyno from Turbonetics I think anyone can agree that its an improvement even BEFORE full boost hits at 4k. I prefer this curve a lot more than that of a TT. But thats my preference. You have yours of course.
G35 and MIAPLAYA,
These are opionions, and no one opinion is better than the other.
There are preferences in each case, I haven't wanted to get into a mud slinging event as I almost got into one in another thread about my very own product.
Don't anyone take this stuff seriously, there is no need to defend any product.
The product does what it does, and someone is going to like it, and someone isn't.
That is why you have to do research and make sure whatever you want, does what you want now and in the future.
I stated in my thread where I drove the Turbonetics card, I know I got power sooner, and I know I got more power across the band.
Yes this is good, and that is what I wanted, however I don't believe the way the Turbonetics turbo respondes makes it a non daily driver.
I don't think anyone is boosting every day all the time, right?
You'd need a airline tanker refueler deal setup with someone.
Maybe this wouldn't be good for a daily driver with the need to kill everything in site. I'm in the process of doing that, I haven't had a kill situation worth mentioning as of yet.
In every case though, they are surprised!

Hey you may do some killing together... I mean you can do a little race after you guys went to the dyno
No but seriously let the kit hit the streets to have a good judgemet to do any kind of opinions...

The way I look at it, if Mia and Alpine can get along great after investing in two completely Turbo kits and approaches after investing there hard earned money, the rest of us should do that too. It is not like any of us own stock in one particular company. We are all just Z nuts trying to find the right kit for our application.
I for one am thankful we are getting more options in FI for our cars. If we take this to its extreme I guess we can argue over if Silverstone is better or worse than CS.

I wonder how the motor will hold up after a few months/years when only one side (turbo side) is working a lot harder? TT ALL THE WAY!! Quicker response IMO smooth power all the way and you can run a DUAL EXHAUST! ANXIOUSLY WAITING FOR 3 months to pass
I CAN ALREADY SEE IT NOW
