For everyone that bought the GReddy TT Kit with Intercooler, what was the best price you got on the kit? The best price I have found is $5,700 (includes intercooler) ..... anyone get it cheaper ?

I got a kit for sale with intercooler, e-manage tuned for 7-9psi, HKS SSQV BOV and some extras for $4350.

 

Because I am gonna buy it..LOL

 

What do they do to the ECU for the Greddy TT Kit? they use the e-manage from the kit... rigth?

The e-manage is used with the kit and comes with the kit and I think it is the only TT kit that comes with a piggy back system , I know APS has one but not sure of the Engnie Managment. Also PE I think you have to get the Technosquare reflash for Engine managment and there are other kits but not sure of the setup?

 

APS and Greddy use piggyback systems. PE uses nothing in standard trim...just a fuel pump upgrade and rising rate FPR. As you increase boost on the PE kit, you'll need to reflash the ECU.

With the Greddy, you can tune the eManage for more boost, but apprantely, only APS certified tuners can tune the box that comes with the APS kit. I've said before, I think it would great if APS came out with a tuner kit...sans engine managment.

 

when you get the ecu reflashed they can modify your speed limiter, rev limiter, fuel curve, and timing tables

 

I understand that the e-manege of greddy dont touch the ignition timming... do you think I personally can put the Kit w/o any other mod to the ECU (I already have the Limited Spec of Technosquare) Just put the Greddy kit with all my mods (w/o the nitrous) and have no timming adjust...

I've seen them for $5400 with fmic and i've found a place that sells the tt kit and fmic for $5600 (not a special price).

 

I got mine for 5300 shipped with FMIC. Best deal around. I bought it from Avalon Racing in New York.
