I'd try the GTM method first too since it's a lot less hassle

I’m in the process of doing this and you also have to get the walls (sides) of the OEM pulley slightly lathed down since the top/flat side of the belt is slightly larger in width than the grooved side. The walls of the OEM pulley are champhered for the original belt layout that’s why. Will update you guys later

FOR THOSE WHO ARE FOLLOWING THIS BELT LAYOUT AND HAVE THE 2.87 PULLEY
Apparently the length and p/n of the gates belt is incorrect and too long. Sentry said that he used this p/n in this post.

https://my350z.com/forum/forced-indu...ml#post3492634

Will update again if belt size is correct

UPDATE: Sentry runs an extra idler pulley in his setup so I would go with OldManZ350's in his post below.

YES, the Belt Length is Wrong in Original Post.

My Belt is 91-1/4” Long with a 2.87 Pulley.

Napa/Gates Micro-V 060908

The old info was the Belt I started out with....

And BTW, this Thread I started 14 years ago.......

Im so dumb. Thank you for clarifying! And thank you for updating OP. Everyone says to search the forums for answers, but sometimes 14 year old threads are out of date haha.

Oh and another side note:
OldManZ350's part number for the belt 060908, also comes in a P/N K060908HD
HD = The belt is green, is according to gates it is a more heavy duty construction.

http://www.hellcat.org/threads/green...s-belts.41209/

Cheapest I could find in 2018: (Or Ebay which is like $0.10 more lol)
