And did you ever get your car dynoed in the DynoJet yet? I know you mentioned in another post that you were planning on doing it...but havent been following it closely.

Hi Joe,

If you're going to be at Brainstorm in the near future do me a favor and check on my Z and Rashon's progress. A few pics would really help me towards a speedy recovery.

Kim,

Your kit is on it's way to you TODAY.

I spoke with Roshan, and he mentioned to you your kit should ship Tuesday, and here we are Tuesday and it is SHIPPING to YOU!

Of course I have no knowledge of any arrangements you made with Roshan about getting a kit, as you know I had mine air freighted, which could have been an option for you.

Are you shipping it air from BrainStorm at least?

I didn't make it to the Gardena R&D Dyno Day...

My father went into the Hospital Friday morning 1:00AM and it was a very serious event. Was there for 2 days.

He/We are out now and we're waiting for test results and have to go back.

Needless to say, my father is more important that my dyno numbers.

I'll be calling up Strictly Dyno in Reseda (if they are still there, someone told me they may have folded) and see what/how much it can be done for.

thanks

Good luck, my condolences about your father's illness and I pray for the best.

Thank you for your comments and prayers, they are needed at this time.

Alpine

your APS feedback has been great, I was following up on this thread when I read what I read...

I wish your father a quick recovery, hopefully it's not serious.... Things like that, make our little project cars seem so Insignificant... Let us know when he is better...

Joe,

I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. Hope he makes a quick and full recovery. I can understand if you didn't find time for the pics of my Z. My knee is coming along but a lot slower than I had hoped. Talked to Roshan and he says that my car will be ready next week.

Time to resurrect this thread since Brainstorm Performance in L.A. has completed their second successful installation of a 350Z APS TT kit. Alpine's coupe was the first and my roadster was the second. My installation was not without a problem though. One of the Garrett turbos was not sealed properly and the car was putting out a lot of exhaust smoke.

It took some trouble shooting but the problem was discovered and the defective turbo was replaced. Fortunately Brainstorm had one remaining unsold kit so they used a turbo from that kit instead my having to wait, who knows how long, for APS to replace it.

After getting my car I drove it over 300 miles back to Santa Cruz. I kept it under 80 mph most of the way but it took a lot of restraint. The two times I got back on the Freeway after stopping I did get on it and zoomed up to 100 mph in what seemed like less than a 1/4 mi.

I'm really pleased with the kit and the guys at Brainstorm.

i had a chance to drive an APS TT car today myself and i'm just speechless on the performance. the car was just sick once you got on it, but on regular driving it was nice and calm.

i just wish peter would hurry up and come out with the G35 kit and i'd really like to see the single kit that they are planning.

I am going out of my mind. My APS kit was supposed to have an ETA of Dec. 1. Last I heard is it cleared customs. Coming up on 3 weeks past the estimated delivery time. I have patience but they are wearing thin. Thanks for the impressions of the APS kits...makes me glad I chose that kit....atleast to wait on
