I keep hearing my car make a not so loud high pitched howling noise when I change gears between 1-2 and 2-3 for the most part. I am sure its a throw out bearing, but dont know the consequences of riding like that without bringing it in to the shop.
I have sounds when switching gears, and the clutch stutters. I realized this when a valet guy was driving my car and I heard something that sounded like rattling under my car when he switched gears. I started listening to it and I hear it all the time now. What about if you're idling in your car with your foot on the clutch? When you let go of the clutch do you hear a loud click and then it sounds like air blowing? I have that. I believe those are symptoms of a bad throwout bearing right?
