New Front Strut Bar by ARC for G35 Coupe! PICS!
****PICS BELOW****
Hello all.
I just wanted to post to let you all know that ARC will be releasing their new Titanium front strut bar for the G35 coupes very soon.
They have test fit these and we are expecting to see them to begin shipping within 60-70 days. Mackin has finalized the test fitment for the G35 coupe and will begin production.
They will run $539 for each, (Cotact us for special forum pricing). We've been authorized by Mackin/ARC to begin pre-sales of these:
http://performancenissanparts.com/ca...oducts_id=6641
A few questions some may have:
Q) will this fit G35 Sedans?
A) Mackin/ARC will finalize test fitment on the Sedan shortly, just to be safe.
Q) Will the stock engine cover be able to be retained?
A) YES
Q)What material is it made from?
A)Full titanium, just like the 350Z bar, and should have titanium ends as well
Q)Will this fit with a plenum spacer?
A)It may, however you may have to shim the bar, just like a lot of 350Z bars.

oo finally, i'd totally jump on this if I still had a G35. That arc strut bar is really a very nice piece and the price isn't as bad as I thought it would be considering ARC's high prices

I'd really have to see at least one pic before committing $500 to a product.
Hopefully it'll go around and not above the plenum. Otherwise anyone with a Crawford plenum or Motordyne spacer probably won't be able to use it.

This bar will fit with the stock engine cover.
As for spacers, no idea on that yet, until they are released and we measure.
As for the sedan, i think they would, but ARC is doing test fitting to make sure.
Pics are coming soon as well,

Well the majority of plenums or spacers out there even for the 350z can't retain the stock strut bar, or similar bars, you end up having to go with one that goes in front of the motor etc.... So even on a 350z you often times can't use a normal strut bar either when you install plenums etc..
