Maintenance and Repair Costs for G35
I'm debating on getting either a used G35 or a BMW 330CI. The repair/maintenance cost difference is going to be a huge factor in my purchasing decision. For instance, is an oil change for a G35 going to be as expensive like a BMW ($75 per oil change)?? Do any of you guys perform small maintenance and repairs yourselfs??
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

yeah a dealership in dallas/ft worth area...they are copying bmw or audi's program but only 2 years...btw I am on my 3rd year of my car and I can break it down for you on maintenance besides oil changes...
1. (2) radiator flush treatments 129 a piece
2. brakes...rotors, pads, ss lines 600 for parts for brembo setup
3. tires on 2nd set of bf goodrich kdw's, 2nd set was bought early with new tires to get bigger tires 800 for the first set 1000 for second set
4. spark plugs at 40k miles 70 bucks for 6 denso iridiums
5. 2 manual tranny services...gear box, diff, and trans 120 for royal purple
ive spent 2968 on servicing without adding in oil changes since I do my own...

Would you happen to have the reliability reports for the G35??

I have an 02 M3 and maintaining it isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Owned since 03 and I've only paid for a 30k service 800 dollars I know for the regular 3 series this service is onlye like 300-400. They changed oil, breaks, rotors, and clutch on the house. Then I had a problem with my door and they fixed that for free. Only heavy duty bill I ever got was this one time I dented the skid plate and that cost me 1500 to fix.
