ummmm.....I believe that since you already have the 6MT you already have the same springs as the Z? I could be wrong, but yes watch your rates. 427's in the rear is a tight spring, most "lowering springs" for the G are a softer rate, that means your handleing will get screwed.
I got a set of '06 Z springs from a member here. The newer revised Z springs match my existing rear spring rate of 427 exactly. The Z Tein H-Techs, which I had originally got are much softer. They are 356 Ft and 375 Rr. I will not get the same drop from the Z springs, but I'll preserve my existing ride quality.
Huh? Lower springs rates = softer ride... Well, maybe the springs didn't match your shocks well... hmm... I'm gonna use Z H-techs with revised Z shocks so hopefully I won't have any problem with the ride. I would imagine not with a minor drop like that in spring rates.
