Blah after working with BMW's for so long, there's nothing special or magical about them, they are Germany's domestics, just like Ford and Chevy are ours, and they have tons of problems that are costly as well.
I'd go for the G37.
I'd go for the G37.

Usually people who purchase these types of cars (Infiniti, BMW, and Mercedes) purchase them for status and in my opinion the BMW has a higher status than Infiniti. Now if you want to buy it because you want to drag race it, please buy another car and i suggest you look at domestics (anything that has RWD and a V8). Both cars will have problems since they are infested with technology and usually if you can afford one, maintaining the car shouldn't be the problem.
The only thing about the 335i that I don’t like is that to eyes of the public (non-car enthusiast) it’s just another 3 series BMW that some high school teenager is probably driving but it’s still better than an Infiniti. The great thing about the 335i is the potential of its engine, with the package that Active Autowerke offers it can make great safe WHP. I’m not sure about the potential about the new VQ37 since it’s too new but I’m sure it’s going to be great but I wouldn’t want to mod it since it’s a luxury sport coupe (aka overweight wannabe Z sport car.) btw making a factory turbo car quicker and is easier than a N/A car.
Anyways…..
Infiniti = Nissan
BMW = BMW

Sorry guys, but the BMW has name brand, stock TT, more luxury / better interior, and the car is better looking than the upcoming G37. The only thing the G37 will have over it will be the fact that it'll be cheaper, but I bet not by much. 335i starts at 40k while the G37 will probably start at 34-35k. I'd rather pay 5k extra and get a car with all those things than be stuck with the G37.

Just like chevy or ford to us or bmw to the germans, I just hate how everyone assumes BMW's are the "it". Or the big baller status that comes from owning them, and the free air conditioning you get when the windows fall into the doors . Hence why I don't believe Infinity < BMW. If anything Acura/Lexus > BMW. They all have problems, they all have upsides, and they are all the same thing. Combustion engines with **** tons of electronics on them. Buy them for looks or whatever your choice is, I just get tired of the "elite" name that BMW has because "it's just better".
