Default From Z to G...

Hello all,
wow, it's been about 1.5 yrs. I miss this site!!! First of i want to thank you all for such awesome facts!!! You guys are the best!! Now the story,...had me a 04 touring A/t 2005 and totaled it four months later going 137 mph and slamming sideways as the road curves on Ballentine rd, Norfolk Va. I was devastated cause the car had less then 8,000 miles on it. wow...still can believed it but now i'm back and this time i'm keeping it slow...or try to at least. Just got me a 06 G fully loaded w/ nav for $30,500 w 18,000 miles. I personally think it's a fairly decent deal compare to what dealers around here are selling there "used" G for. Just bought some tein springs, stillen intake and now looking for a good exhaust Can feed back on where and what kind of exhaust i should look for? I was thinking about injen true dual exhaust w/ titanium tips. Tell me what you guys think? Will post pics soon. Take care, and it's great to be back from over seas and back on this site

Your always going to get a biased answer here. The Z is the greatest car on earth... atleast in my350z.com it is

Well, speaking serious, I think you will enjoy the G Coupe.

Just make sure its atleast an 05, which you seem to be taking care of. The 05-07 G Coupes have a MUCH better interior.

I think the Z is a great car; same with the G. It's just a matter of what suits you best.

In my opinion, after test driving both, the [05-06] G35 6MT (which includes the sport tuned suspension) feels exactly like the Z, just one passenger heavier. Add a passenger to the Z, and you 'theoretically' have the same performance. In other words, its minimal.

Goodluck and enjoy!

i ran my g sedan all the way up to 140 mph on both I-5 and highway 99....

whether 2 door or 4 door, it's won't stop me from going that fast...

i wouldn't mind having a TT'd 350z to play around with though if i had the dough...

thank god finally someone that drives a Z has sense.....it's the same car!

i'm the only person with a G out of all my friends here, and they all say it feels the same inside. i find that true. the z is a bit smaller, and if you aren't racing it and looking at the 1/10th of a second on the 1/4 mile then it's about the same. The G rides a little smoother stock, but that's all thrown out the window when you change the springs.

about exhaust, branden, one of the local guys, put megan exhaust on his and had the exhaust custom made. It's basically the megan pipes at the end (2 of them) with some custom exhaust bent for the car. it sounds pretty good. i personally love my stock exhaust, but i figured i would let you know that the megan sounds nice.
