Default OEM HID flickering

Guess I am taking the lazy route, but has anyone corrected this problem? I am thinking it could be the bulb, ballast or igniter. What a pain.

The problem is quite random and usually settles down, only to return later. This is on a 2004 G35 Sedan.

I had the same problem on my 04 Coupe.

Take the headlight out and check the yellow grounding wire inside the light. Mine was loose...got a pair of tweezers and made it tight again...no problems.

Not yet. I have to pull off the front bumper and I haven't really had time. The problem has been intermittent. I noticed that bumps and slowing down seem to make it worse or start up so I assume it is a connection.

check all your fuses, i had the same issue and turns out one of my fuses was blown.

there are 3 fuse boxes in your car, 1 beside the clutch or brake, one right behind the battery, and the last is behind in a secret compartment also above the battery
