We recommend either our sreet compound, or as a cheaper alternative, the Axxis Ultimate compound.

remember there is a reason for brake dust. All performance brake pads will make dust. Its a sign that your pads are working good. I think EBC greenstuff are kelvalr pads so it means it takes a little longer to get the pads to heat up and get more sticky. I use to complain about the dust but after research i realize i have to live with it. Just like how performance comes with sound. Perofrmance pads come with dust. You can also say the more dust you have the better your pads are performing haha.

I bought the Hawk HPS brake pads for my coupe at 30K miles when the factories wore out. They are a high performance street pad with low dust. When I had my factory rims on I could tell a huge difference between the OEM brembo pads and the Hawk pads. Initial bite on the Hawks is also better then OEM. I bought them from TireRack for $160-$175 (can't remember exactly). Just enter in your car info and they come up as an aftermarket performance brake pad.

Baumer-
Did you replace front and back, or just front pads?

i replaced both the front and rear pads, both were barely within specs at my 30K service so i had them changed. like i said above, they have very little dust and good initial bite. you can buy both fronts and rears from tirerack.

Holy crap baumer! I'm nearing 18K and I have about 25% of pad left. I don't think I'll get close to 30K. Anyhow, I bought the Hawk HPS pads from Tirerack shipped for $172.

I was going to get the EBCs but heard some negative stuff about them. Noting too serious but enough to sway me towards the Hawks.

I too replaced mine with Hawks at 19K miles. They were only 3/8 worn, so I bet I could have gone 50K miles on them. That is WITH Autocross, high speed runs, and the first year break in schedule of LETS HAVE FUN!!
