Cracked V4 Kinetix Plenum

Cracked V4 Kinetix Plenum
A few days ago I noticed some water on my garage floor under my Z.
I did some more checking and noticed it was coming from the base of the plenum where the intake connects to it.
I removed the plenum and noticed the entire cork gasket and top of the plenum was saturated with fluid.
I was able to see a small crack in the inside of the plenum.
Has anyone else had a problem like this?
It looks like I am on the growing list of Z owners with cracked Kinetix plenums.

Is it coolant fluid you are talking about? If so the only place it would be leaking from is the little block that you attached the coolant hoses to, that is to keep the intake area warm during cold starts, in warmer climates people usually just connect the two hoses together to prevent the intake from warming up the already hot air.
Anyway that is not the plenum really just the little block or the hoses not tight and leaking.
Where is the crack can you post a pic, just curious.

No fluids go through the plenum.
If you have fluids leaking, its not the plenum. The plenum may be cracked but that is not causing fluids to leak. You have bigger problems.
Where on the plenum do you see the crack ?

No crack. A loose brass fitting that connects a coolant line to the plenum caused the leak and a lot of oil blown back up into the plenum from the engine, according to Kinetix. I still don't like it.
The inside has a rough seam that run for an inch or so and it looked like the problem.

Ok ... so let me get this straight ... 'NO CRACK'? ... wheeewh!
I had suspected the coolant bypass block, as that's the only part w. 'fluid' that could sip down to the ground.
Oil in plenum is normal. ... there was plenty of that when I took off my stocker.

No crack. Just a lot of evidence pointing at a crack.

Ok... ok .. I'll take that. But thats it.
Sorry for the paranoid post.
But I was asking an informative question in my post.
The plenum block was leaking but no cracks in the plenum itself.
With all the bad rap about the Kinetix plenum, can you blame me.
