As an update for my personal experiences with this new plenum...

I have enjoyed it very much. After having it on for about a week now, I can definitely feel a difference compared to how it used to be. The car seems more peppy, especially at higher rpms. This plenum defnitely does not add any extra noise to the sound of the motor. I think it is a Great part!

Thanks, Doug!

Doug said today that due to the low introductory price of $350, there will not be any "group buys" offered. The older version was $395.

He may limit the intro price to the first 50, and I believe he has pre-orders for about 25 already.

Getting on the list now if you're interested would be good advice.

Was on the list for the regular there v5 plenum and Randy from Crawford was good enough to leave me a message telling me about the new cast piece asking if I wanted that instead... Hell Yaeh! Just got off the phone with him and Im on the list he also said they are closer than anticipated to getting these bad boys out. Didn't get a specific date but he said much sooner. Cant wait If I get the call when I have extra dough around I'll get there hiflo cats at the same time. Just wish there headers weren't so expensive. Any crawford package GB in the works?

The fact is Doug picked up what he hopes is the final prototype today, and if everything looks good, he will give them the go ahead on production next week.

It is still several weeks away (2-4) as previously stated before shipment.

To the people on the list - you'll know when Doug knows as far as the actual shipping date is concerned.

No crushed dreams here friend!!!

When we start talking about it, you are going to constantly get updates! No pipe dreams here where we mention it... and keep pushing things back!!!

If there are reasons it's not coming out, YOU KNOW!

A plenum looks surprisingly simple.

It looks taller than the non-cast ones. Is it?

there's no dent in the front of the plenum when compare to Crawford V5. Does it clear the hood?

Strutbar uses stock mounting location and stock bolt locations.

As you can see we put it on my car tonight and the fit is perfect. The main difference between this plenum and the prototypes are thicker flanges and the intake is larger, which is ideal for those of you running the larger throttle body.

does this mean that crawford will sell the plenum without doing a trade in for the stock plenum? and ideas on price?

I ordered mine today. $350 for the plenum and $150 for the strut bar.
