Do you need longer, aftermarket bolts to secure this?

You need 2 stock gaskets, right?

I'm ready to buy but have the same questions.
Price?
Does the stock brace and cover work?

i thought the crawford made around 8hp, so for this to make 15 is pretty incredible

I might be willing to switch from my crawford if it's worth it, but I'm kinda stuck cause I don't have the stock plenum anymore

guys, stop asking about if the stock strut bar fits - you know it won't
get the crawford strut, or live without a strut bar if you'd rather have the engine cover (bla)

The crawford for sure looks nicer than the stock plenum.

there seems like there'd be more possability for air leaks with the spacer - you'd have to us 2 gaskets I'm assuming

We use to stock gaskets for proper sealing (one is regular the other has teh center section removed). The bolts will use an o-ring with mechanical interface type washer for sealing so the o-ring does not warp or distort as much under twisting. The stock strut bar is still being test fit and pricing is still too come. We're working on it as I type this one out.

I can't tell you all how suprised we were at the gains. Its rare to see this type of gain with no hocuss pocuss or "magic snake oils". Please bear with us as we try to get everything in order for additinal testing and the group buy.

We're going to have a Procharger car here this weekend to see how forced induction does with the spacer and without. Now that should be interesting!

The dyno runs are done in 4th gear. We are finishing testing to determine the ideal spacing and angle in the spacer for best results. We'll have more dyno information available soon!

Next we'll be testing different combinations on Ben's Supercharged Z.

Diesel350....
i am basically one of the guys here...i work with AAM constantly...but as an owner of the car...i know exactley how skeptical you all must be...15whp is alot...i can reassure you...were not yanking your chain or pulling any strings...i stand behind AAM's products and would never doubt the gains. We have an in house DYNO, and my car has been on it numerous times from doing custom tuning on my ECU, to a basic dyno run, and then last but not least tuning the greddy e-manage for my ATI Procharger...but like i was saying...i am a customer just like anyone else...i wouldn't buy it if it didn't prove what it does...we should see results for the F/I crowd by hopefully by close of business tom...

I am also skeptical about he 15 hp increase. On the dyno charts the x axis of the dyno graph measures in MPH and not in RPM. Most dynos I've seen measure sae hp vs. rpm, not sae hp vs. vechile speed(mph). Do you guys have a dyno graph of hp vs. rpm? What kind of dyno was it?

I'm no expert in physics, and I could be missing something. Can someone clearify this difference? My thinking is that if you're measuring hp vs. mph wouldn't intake air velocity come into play as speed increases thus the hp increase?

ya, with dyno software, you can display the results in many different ways, plotting many different parameters.

Were these dynos performed on a completely stock 350Z? I'm sure figures would increase if a true dual exhaust was to be added.
