Will I lose LowEnd torque with Stillen Exhaust?
I love the LowEnd Torque that my 04 Z Roadster has, but I want
to put the Stillen Full exhaust on.....
Will I lose that LowEnd Torque?
daily driven, stop and go traffic....

I have the Stillen and i haven't felt anything but increases. Its an awesome setup. Great sound too. You won't reget it man. I did a lot of research on exhausts before i got mine and Stillen is one of the few that don't make u lose tq. The only negative is the price and its a bit heavier than stock. You can't feel it tho. Let me know if you have any more questions or just shoot me a PM
how much louder that the stock Exhaust?
will i still get that monoTone sound just like the Stock exhaust?
I really like the Stock exhaust sound but want the stillen
exhaust b/c it sounds similiar and it isn't loud....
i don't want to sound like a Ricer on the road..
thanks
p.s. the reason i'm very much concerned about losing Torque is
b/c i have a 5AT tipTronic and I do not race at all....
I use it as a daily driver in the city traffic and if i have to
Rev high all the time to get going, it will be tiring....

Some relatively objective numbers on the Stillen (and some other) exhaust(s):

The stillen is louder than stock for sure but not too loud. It def. is nice though. NOt too loud but gives a nice rumble especially when u step on it. Well worth it. Sorry, if thats not too descriptive enough. Its hard for me to describe sounds lol. Either way, my goal was to get something a little deeper and a bit louder than stock, but nothing ricer sounding. I'm more than happy with my choice. Hope this helps. Let me know if there is anything else. Oh, and you won't lose tq with it

I agree. The Stillen dual is just slightly throatier, and only really noticeable when you crack the throttle open. If you're going F/I in the future, it flows better than almost everything because of the dual cans. It's not two pipes going into one exhaust can with two tips attached. Otherwise, I probably would have purchased a Borla dual.
Last year we put a Stillen rear section on our 04 Roadster and ran 2-1/4" dual tubes back to it instead of the 2-1/2" that comes with the Stillen set to give it a bit more torque. The 2-1/2" Stillen mufflers are basically just magnaflow packed mufflers (center/offset) so they have a glass pack sound, not bad but they are DTM's.
Last week we built and installed a pair of Borla 2-1/4" x 18" duals no packing and put it in like the Stillen setup, basically a center/offset inlet opposed outlets with Borla tips.
Love the sound, quieter but throaty with no glass pack sound, we'll probably add an x pipe and lose the resonators.
I think if Borla would offer a dual muffler setup in 2-1/4" for the auto trans cars it would do well. Have not dynoed with the Borla yet, we have 2-1/4" duals on our 5.6L Armada and have seen no benefit to using 2-1/2" vs 2-1/4", the 2-1/4" will produce more torque.

I think if you get enough air flowing, you will notice the 2-1/2 duals are needed. And I don't mean FI, I just mean add headers, test pipes, JWT cone, intake plenum, throttle body, etc. But on a stock 350Z, with just a dual exhaust, sure 2-1/4 would be easily sufficient, and may even give an additional .5 TQ at the wheels. Test pipes alone would probably negate that.

It is an 04, if they won't deal with it we'll probably get rid of it and get an 05 vette convertible.
