Default nismo cold air intake

my nismo cold air is reallt quiet, It looks cool but souds normal and feels the same, I know CAI only adds like 3hp but I thought at least the sound would be diffrent, I thought I would sound really evil but it sounds pretty stock!

that's because the filter is down behind the wheel well. If you had a short-ram you'd probably hear it a little more.

I can hear my Nismo as well. You would hear it too if you actually took the engine over 3,000 RPM at WOT.

Just buy the JWT Pop Charger, probably gains about the same but sounds a lot better.

My Nismo CAI whistles like crazy. I love the sound it produces. I also have to rev, however, over 3k for it to really kick in. Not only does it whistle but I did feel an increase in responsiveness once I had it installed.

The JWT Popcharger is the best bang for the buck intake out there. Popular, but for a good reason.....

JWT is also a hell of a lot eaiser to get to for maintinence. 30 seconds and its off an ready for cleaning compared to 30 minutes of under car action for the CAI.

Thats the reason my AEM is sitting on a shelf in my garage and the JWT is under my hood.

I have the NISMO cold air intake and happy with it, along with the NISMO Headers and NISOM Exhaust. It's just everybody to his/her own taste. Check the thread on the dent removal repair. There's several statements about it from the guys there.

It should get louder by 5k rpms...not QUITE as loud as VTEC but same idea with the noise increase.
I noticed my car got even louder with the crawford plenum...kinda like adding more intake sound onto my existing intake sound.
If that makes sense...
