Installed test pipes and y pipe now a funny noise
I jsut installed megan resonated test pipes and a pro-1 y pipe. I am getting alot of noise from under the car not only from the rear like a whisp noise on decel and jsut alot of noise is this normal?
could it be hitting anything should i have someone weld the stock bracket on if its normal ill live with it if not please help!

If it is clunking noise then either the test pipe is hitting the body or the test pipe to y-pipe flange is hitting the frame.
You will get more noise in general now towards the front of the babin since the test pipes are right under your feet.

its like a snake slither noise hahaha i cant think of a good way to decribe it and inside the car its lieka vibrating noise mostlyy on the decel thanks guys

I've got the same sound. Others are experiencing the same noise. There was another thread about it a while back.
It's a hissing sound that is random and minimal at idle but is very noticeable when you pull your foot off the throttle. It sounds sort of like a blow off valve. I also notice the sound when I'm coasting down steep roads (in gear).
I first noticed this sound after I installed my test pipes but it got louder after my Y-pipe was installed.
I've had it checked out by my installers but they weren't able to find a leak.
As an experiment, I applied some exhaust sealant (comes in a tube @ Pep Boys) at all the relevant flanges but the noise persists.
I can live with the sound but I'm concerned that I may be losing some power.

ok now there is another noise sounds like a rattle snake behind the seats i have a pro-1 y pipe merginge into stock exhaust is that the noise from the turbulant air or is it vibrating or is that rasp sounds like a rattle/vibration

yeah i have the snake rattle also... also the whisp as i accel... i take the whisp as a turbo spool... i like that sound but at times the snake rattle is kinda annoying...
