Default HELP!!!Header install kicking my ***!

The Header install is brutal! They're is no space to do anything. They're are three of us and it is going painstakingly slow. Started Header install about two hours ago and we just got the first one off. I seem to be missing a couple of bolts though because there was only six bolts that i could find? Any avdice would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of headers?

Heres a pretty detail How to, made by 2 forum members on www.350zmotoring.com with pics and all. It helped me out alot. Highlighted in RED are what you have to do with Crawford headers. Highlighted in yellow are what you do for all types of aftermarket headers.

+1 You are doing OK if the one that took 2 hrs was the passenger side one. that is the harder of the two. if you get everything done in under 8 hrs, you are doing alright.

there are only six studs per side....that threw me off too....make sure you get them back into the right spots if they come out

also, take your time....this is not an easy install....it will be a b1tch all the way

+2 on the passenger, thats the hardest of the two

Thanx guys. It took us a total of 5 hours with the three of us. If not for my Friend who lives for this ****, weighs a scant 125 lb with skinny arms, i don't think that i would have been able to pull this off. End result, mid range punch has seen a dramatic improvement with a top end boost. Bottom end is a tad bit more responsive and the car moves with alot more authority. Sound is absolutly beatiful. Not loud during normal driving but agressive at WOT. Popcharger wines like a Supercharger (not as loud), and headers...well i'm not sure what they have done to the car in terms of sound, but i bet that where i got all that mid range power from. I love the system and the install head ache and $3300.00 price tag was worth it.

I did headers on a FWD V6 GM engine with 2 guys. 1 tall and skinny, 1 medium guy (me), 1 big strong guy. I still have scars and scratches on my arms. It took us around 6 hours with taquitos in between. Congrats on saving 300-500 installation.

you should try some high flow cats or test pipes. and a spacer too. those get some nice gains.
