I don't see why it would have any issues with mild boost. Do you really think 10psi would make the plastic burst? I think the only concern should be with the actual plenum gasket. In this case, the kinetix uses the stock plenum gasket and also adds a cork buffer. Is this 'buffer' your cause for concern?
Anyway, if it's not adequate I would rather polish my stock plenum and go with a spacer. Anything is better looks-wise than the Crawford. It looks like someone took one of granny's frying pans and bolted it to the engine.

"Turbonetics Single Tubo Kit" coming soon. I have had ZERO problems with my V4 with Vortech SC. Why don't you give Kinetix a few days to see what they might announce on their intake manifold. It is suppose to be for FI.

Yeah. I'm saying that I don't think I will have issues with my v4 plenum as long as I'm running stock boost. I know that you Vortech folks have had no issues running them with the stock 8psi. I'll just make sure to take the plenum bolts out and locktite the s**t out of them.

does the plenum void the factory powertrain warranty? i know there is much debate in other forums about intake modifications voiding warranties, and i know EVERY dealer will tell you they do, but most dealers also lie. does any body have definitive answer/proof? and what about cold air intakes as well?

The Moss Mangussen (sp?) Act states that the dealer must prove that the mods done to the car are a direct cause of the failure to void the warranty. I say do the mod and if you have any problems after installation of that mod, replace the OEM plenum or intake or whatever other mod you have done if possible. If you are that worried about voiding your warranty, just dont mod the car.

So is this complete intake manifold setup strickly for FI? I am very interested in making a potent NA 350Z so I have been keeping a close eye on the whole plenum debate... 350EVO has made it clear their setup is for NA Zs how about Kinetix?

The Kinetix Intake Manifold should have a positive impact on both NA and FI. Hopefully numbers from both applications will be posted in the near future.

...Greddy TT's are blowing engines but people are still buying them...
the Kinetix V4 is one of the best mods I made to my car... 14hp and 8ft lbs are nothing to sneeze at... and I've had mine since the first GB (ie long *** time ago) and put over 10k miles on it easily... composite intakes wouldn't be used in OE applications if it didn't work... it just took Kinetix four tries to get it PERFECT...
