Default does NISMO exhaust sit lower on the car (scraping)

my car is scraping much easier now over speed bumps since the Nismo exhaust was installed, does it sit lower or what seems to be going on? My car is slightly lowered, but I didn't have this much problem before.

thought????

Do you know what is scraping? Near the middle? Back? I also have a Nismo, and RSR springs. I had the Nismo prior to the springs, and I don't recall it being a problem. However, with the RSR springs on I can feel a small scrape anytime I go over a large speed bump with a passenger in the car with me. By myself it's never a problem.

Just eyeballing the exhaust, the pipes don't look to hang any lower underneath the car. The Nismo muffler looks to be tilted at a more aggressive angle to show off the Nismo logo from behind, but I've never scraped it to my knowledge when going up or down a steep incline.

The center canister is definetly a little lower than stock IMO - - I'm not lowered and have no problems scraping - - I guess it depends on how low you are. Too much scraping can't be good in the long run - -

I am scraping in the Y-pipe area. I have hotchkis springs which really aren't that low compared to the other springs out there.

From your sig I guess you have a stock y-pipe? I have a Kinetix y-pipe in storage that I'll probably switch to when I get rid of this Nismo exhaust. I'm wondering if it will scrape more since it is a true Y shape, as opposed to the T shape that most of the pipes are.

I also think that it's my Nismo Y pipe that scrapes speeds bumps when going over them to quick. I have my stock Track Rims and factory height. I just drive more carefully now but with after market spings, i don't think my Nismo Exhaust wont last very long.Minor set back in comparison to over all gains IMO.

i have a custom y-pipe with stock exhaust and mine scrapes as well, if inspected after i heard the scraping noise and it is in fact the flanges on the y-pipe, they are slightly larger than stock and just barely rub the ground! I am not sure if this will be the same issue with your nismo but you should check it out!
