Default Just got me second Stillen!

OOhh, just got my second stillen exhaust. Loved the first one, love the second one! The sound is so sexy I just want to 'drive' my car all night!

I almost like the fact that it adds 17pounds to the car! Its all in the excellent mufflers so the weight is low and in the rear, couldnt be better!

axxizzer,

Is that an estimate on gained WHP in your sig or are those actual dyno numbers with the Injen intake? If it is actual dynoed numbers, what was your base dyno?

I ask because I am currently interested in the Stillen TD exhaust and would like non-manufacture's WHP numbers...

Those numbers are my baseline, I dont have the Injen yet, even though it was suppposed to get here before the dang exhaust.

I plan on dynoing again after a few more NA mods. Lets say Pullies and Plenum.

Stillen usually dyno at 8whp and 4lbft

Those arent from stillen
I think thats what I got the first time I got this exhaust.

Nice... Was the first Stillen a single/ not TD setup? What happened to it?

And I didn't realize the Stillen TD was an additional 17lbs. on top of stock...?

Misconception... it is about the same weight as stock, give or take a couple pounds at most. The stock exhaust was weighed without including the Y-pipe since regular exhausts bolt onto the Y-pipe. Only the TD's bolt up to the stock cats. Anyway, add the Y-pipe weight to the stock exhaust weight and I bet the Stillen TD system is no greater. LIke he said, even if the weight is the same or a little higher, it is farther back on the car so it's not so bad.

Damn. But anyway, the first stillen was a TD too, same design

Cept that was single wall
and this is dual wall tip.

Stillen JUST RECENTLY released a single/dual

But I wouldnt suggest it, just get the nismo, looks nicer.

Whewww... I was getting a little worried there. I really like the idea of duel piping all the way back from my HF cats

I like the nismo for sound, but still not crazy about the single back pipe leading to the cans.

The TD Borla may be my second choice...$$...?

Ya easy install, way less chances for leaks, and you can't beat Stillen quality. Of course I do like the HKS TD Ti better now :\ straight out and so damn nice looking. I think they both have similar flow/power. I think the HKS is gonna be a little louder too, in a good way.
