Default New Injen CA Intake SP1985 Dyno

Before i put the new intake on, i tested out my car with the old Injen CAI, i dynoed around 250. So i go back, install the new Injen CA Intake SP1985
and got 262rwhp. I have the dyno sheet if you guys really dont believe me that much. You can order these now from Intense Motorsport's.

262 was the 3rd Run. The lowest i got was 257 on the first run, then 261 on second run. I had like 245rwtq as well. This is with only Intake, Test pipes, and injen exhaust. Oh and my car is Auto .

Lane Myers: Thank you, but what do you mean "and the 'butt' dyno?"

exactly - does the car "feel" any different during driving - can you notice the power, etc. ...does it sound different?

Judging by the pics, it doesn't eliminate the maf sensor just the housing. If you look closely, you can see where the maf sensor bolts on.

Lane: Ya i can feel it a little bit, the Z was normally a little sluggish it seemed around lower RPM's or when i try to get on it right away... but it seems a lil quicker response and a little quicker all in general. And yes it does seem louder for some reason... Like when i dynoed it was VERY loud.. even though it was loud before, seemed even louder now. Even the dyno'ers at Intense who have dynoed their supra with a 5inch wide exhaust, and supra that pushes 1700 at the crank... said my car was loud, so that means something :P.

EdgeOfSanity: This was the only thing i did NOT like about the the Intake. What you had to do was unscrew your Masflow airsense from the stock tubeing, and screw it into the Injen pipe. But the problem was, it was a safety star-fish type wrench needed. And i dont know about you, but i dont think everyone has one of these at home. The screws were made like that from Nissan so noone would tamper with the sensor. Luckly i was at Intense Motorsports when installing and they helped out a little bit there. But basically if worst comes to worst, get a little monkey wrench and unscrew it.

wow,... first time I have ever seen an intake dyno gain power / torque in the low RPM...

I wouldnt trust that dyno...

18 Runs...

1st one is the base line... for those who have dyno'ed your cars the first run is always the lowest (in most cases')...

Idle with the intake is fine, i have no idea what was wrong with yours.. lol

Jason, ya 18runs is kinda weird haha. But all i know is, i was in the 250s w/ my old injen CAI, now iam 262 w/ the new Injen CAI SP1985... so that has to mean something.
If you really would like to see my dyno, ill scan it.

Nope. No other mods added... lol i would of said if there was... Iam not here to represent for Injen... They just made a product that really does add power gains, and i used it, and felt like telling others.

When I got my car back from Injen with the new intake all i can say is that I felt the difference compared to the popcharger I had before. don't know how much HP gain it has but I can feel the difference.

It's pretty amazing to get that much improvement with just the intake.

but even if you take into account just the lowest dyno, it is still a 7 WHP gain over the old injen he has. But then agin I've heard that the old injen could even take HP away, so he might have gone neutral again witht the new engine.
