Default Exhaust Sounds

Anyone changed the exhaust on their Z? Anyone made a video, or audio recording of the new sound? I want to change my exhaust, but the most important thing to me is what it's going to leave my car sounding like. Second is performance gain. Obviously I want the performance gain, but I wouldn't put an exhaust on my car that didn't make it sound good. I've heard a couple exhaust set-ups on Z's that sounded very similar to stock, maybe a bit less buzzy, but I'm looking for something that will give me a little bit of a deeper sound. So if anyone has any audio clips of their new exhaust set-up, or links to pages with sounds of new exhaust set-ups please post them here!

Default try this

This system cost 440 installed. I removed the pre muffler and installed a straight pipe and the new muffler is a Flowmaster 80.

enjoy

Clyde thanks for the awesome videos, the car sounds GREAT!! GOOD JOB!... I want to make sure we are on the same page. Ok, you took the pre-silencer off and you said you put a straight pipe. Now, straight pipe is refered to taking out your cats. Did you do that, or do you mean straight pipe as in replacing your pre-silencer. Because I want to do a similar setup but use HKS Titanium Exhaust. (Hi-Power Muffler).

Thanks in advance.

Default setup

I left the cats in. All I removed was the pre-muller in the center of the car and replaced it with a straight pipe. I also remove the deflector off the orig. muffler and welded it back on to the new muffler. The muffer can be seen at the flowmaster web site. flowmaster.com. I had the shop paint the muffler a flat black just like the stock one. This muffler is not stainless but for the price who cares.
