Default pop charger and warranty

I purchased a JWT pop charger and am trying to find out if this voids Nissan warranty completely or just any warranty on the air filter system. Just curious if I shoul put this on beings I just bought an extended warranty.
thanks for any help!

no it doesn`t void warranty.. Not unless they can prove that the popcharger specifically is what caused any problems you try to get fixed under warranty.

when the question comes up, that is always the answer.

Be careful when you re-oil, I have seen some Z's here destroy their MAF sensor.

It shouldn't void your warranty but if you have this known issue, Crank Position Sensor failed, then that also connects to the MAF and TPS and they will void your warranty on that issue.

Just make sure you follow the directions when you clean and re oil the filter. Its very simple. Just wash with warm water and a mild cleaner like simple green. When you oil it just make sure to not over do it. I applied a few light coats. Basically apply some oil, let it dry and then apply again to the spots you missed. After it is completely oiled let it dry for a few hours before you start your engine. In the summer heat it will dry very fast with the filter installed and the hood closed. Before you start the engine just wipe the filter with a dry paper towel. If there is oil on the towel then it isn't dry enough yet.

As long as you don't apply too much oil and you let it dry properly the MAF sensor won't be damaged.

Hey,

Thanks a lot.
BTW, can I use K&N oil, I heard that it will turn the color to reddish, but it is easier to get
in local auto part.

Yes. You can use K&N oil. I believe its red but it does the same thing as the blue oil. You can always order a can of blue oil on line if you want the filter to remain blue. I ordered a can when I ordered the popcharger.
