whats a fair price for a header install???

 

I've seen ranges all over the place. It also depends on the the header. Crawfords are the best header, but cost a lot more to install, because the engine needs to be jacked up. The ranges I've seen go from $200 to $650. I guess I was lucky, my speed shop in Tucson, charges $200 to put on DC type headers, and charged me $375 to put on my Crawfords.

MRC in NJ charges roughly $400 for header install... Its a 6-8 hour job-

 

I paid $400 with others asking $500 in my area. Anything less than $400 is a smokin' deal IMO. It's a knuckle breaking job.

 

Miami area shops range from $350 to $480 for DC/Topspeed type headers.

 

Had my topspeed header installed for $150.

 

i did mine myself and its probably the hardest thing to do on a Z. no room to work unless u take a lot of **** off. around 300 is fair lower is smokin deal
