ECU reset success sign?
yeah it works
if you have an SES code though, it'll probalby come back, but who knows. People with test pipes should run the non-fouler mod so they don't get the SES light anymore. Do a search on it

Also, in the directions on pg 1 it says sel light? is that a typo or is it supposed to be ses light? Cuz I did not get the sel??
My service engine soon light was blinking so I am assuming i reset it....Any comments??
yeah it's a typo
really, if it starts blinking at all, you probably got it right. I don't actually think you need to get the timing dead on for the 10 sec parts. Meaning if you wanted to hold it for 12 sec it'd still work I think. The begining part has to be pretty dead on though with the timing

Yea, my SES light came back on yesterday night. But, I don't think it's the test pipes setting the SES light on though because I have an 03'. I'm starting to think it's because my Z is too rich causing the light to come on.
Any 03' owners have their SES light go on after installing test pipes?
Took it out after the ECU reset and HOT DANM. It accelerated with a noticeable difference. Got on I-95 and got up to speed quicker. Can’t say a lot but I do notice a difference.
Pulled out of a parking lot shifted to 2nd, 3rd doin about 35-40mph, went back to 2nd, floored it and the slip light came on. I don’t think I ever did that before doin 35-40mph. And that was w/ 50 lbs of cat litter. Do it and see what happens.
Wastin gas. Danm.

and HE said,.,,,just resetting the ECU is A bad idea after modding. He said the car will feel faster for the first few miles, then the ECU will overcompensate for the MOD and the car will be alot slower.
He said it's better to not reset the ECU as it adapts faster to the new mods that way if just left alone.
I'm just relaying what he told me. Any of guys noticed your car slower after a few drives with the ECU reset?

Been a week now, car definately doesn't feel like it has slowed down. I think I'm going to reset it every 2 weeks.
If only technosquare would lower it's price for a reflash, I would justify getting it reflash each years after some mods. But right now, I feel it would be a waste to reflash it, then add some more mods, and have to pay for another reflash.
