Pop Charger stalls engine.. POLL
Those that have it, how many have expeirencd the infamous clutch in, engine stalling on the freeway thing?
Is the Z really that sensitive to a filter swap? I know in about half the cases the SES light needs to be reset, which seems simple enough to reset but once the ECU is reset does that eliminate the stalling issue too?
I don't make a habit out of going 75mph on the freeway then coasting half a mile with the clutch in lol but still would like to know if resetting fixes that problem and if the light will stay off. On a slightly different note, I have had other bone stock cars that sometimes would stall doing that on the freeway, granted they were P'sOS.

When I installed, I un-plugged the battery as well to reset ecu, and from the day I installed (probably 4 months ago) I never stalled because of the filter. I have done all types of driving, WOT, cruising, I mean I go on the highway and hit WOT all the way past 100+ let off the gas get on the gas, and havent had one sputter. DId everyone that stalled try reseting ECU?
Mine has NEVER stalled in 40K+ miles. The stalling is a bad coincidence with your pop-chargers, iirc, there was a recall of some sorts issued by NNA, regarding the Z stalling especially after pushing the clutch in after being higher in the revs while driving. Its not the pop-charger its a crank angle wire that needed to be shielded I think. Do a search guys, if you have this get it fixed, and stop blaming your intakes. BTW I never reset me ecu after any mods, I did it 1X and for about 5-6 days my car felt slow as *** as the ecu relearned itself.
Yep, like Alberto says your intake has nothing to do with this.
Your engine cuts out due to the ECU freaking whilst reading a
high(ish) speed and the clutch being pushed in for an abnormal length
of time given the speed.
Happened to a guy in the UK a while back, he $hat himself!
Don't exactly know why you'd want to be not be in gear for any
more time than necessary.

No problems as well & I've had mine for almost a year now.
Definitely would be helpful if this "poll" thread actually had a "poll" chart
.
