Default does anyone have the nismo intake??

i recently installed my nismo intake and everything went fine, until like 2 days after my engine light came on, anyone get this too? does anyone know what i might have done wrong?

I'm not engine guru but from all the posts i've read on this already... It probably has to do with your MAF. Check that you installed it with no leaks anywhere and you didn't mess up the sensor or wiring. My nismo intake never gave me probs but I let the dealer install it with a package of exhaust/catbacks as well.

When you did the installation, you disconnected the negative battery terminal right?

i dont think your suppose to disconnect anything..i just followed the instructions.

just reset your ecu...i have had intakes in my past cars and i always had to reset the ecu to tget the initial CEL out.

I had the Nismo. It tends to throw off the SES. Just disconnect your negative terminal on battery for about 5 minutes and make sure all your clamps are on tight. You might also notice your idle jumping around a bit, or being lower than stock. When I had mine, my car would stall after start up. Reset ECU, and everything was savvy.
