Found this intake on ebay made by Simota...I've heard of the company once or twice before. I'm debating between this intake and the K&N Typhoon system...I really like the look of the Simota but i just don't know how reputable the company is, I don't want to cheese up my Z but it looks awesome and Simota's website seems put together well so I don't think its a fly-by-night company. Anyone know anything about this intake? Any advice would be greatly appreciated...There is a link to the picture and info below..TIA

Looks VERY nice IMO
It does look like a smart design if you are going for a short ram system, this should take minimal hot engine bay air (like the stock filter
)
Though i dont think it would do as much gain as the K&N or Injen due to the stock MAF tunnel (which is narrower then the rest of the piping), though this gain would be very minimal i guess.
Is the carbon piping from the manifold to the MAF included?

search for simota on the forums, i have their cai. i posted some pics for another member. the pics are still up.
the cai i bought was like 130 shipped. it resembles the injen intake but at half the price. sounds good too.

we just got a catalog from this company with their products - some of their items look really nice might be worth a try - one thing we did note that was kind of strange is their dyno graph for their CF intake system on a 350z actually showed the engine making more power with the stock setup over their CF setup
