Hi i wanted to know if the JW technology heat shield would work on this air filter

or this one but this is a little bigger and they say is for jaguars and pickups but i think it fits

The last two "heat shields" appear to be sealing against radiant or reflected heat only. They don't seem to have a complete seal against underhood air, which is where the heated intake air would be coming from. Consequently, I don't believe that they would be effective unless you have a sun under that hood.

I have a Popcharger and was thinking about getting the Seibon TS carbon hood. This hood has 3 vents on each side with one of the vents just above the air filter that would allow water to drip onto filter during rain/washing. I was thinking of buying a shield of some sort to block the water....these stainless covers are exactly what I was thinking of. Thanks for those links.

I think either of those shields should work, maybe get two and make it a tube around the filter. I dunno.
