Default hey is this bad

Hi i wanted to know if it was bad to have an exhaust leak with a stock car ive had it for around 6k to 7k miles. Do u think this will damage the motor or anything will come out when i install my TT.

seriously, dude... you're spending ~$10k on a TT + install and you can't spend $5 for some flux to weld up a simple leak?

ok machupo is not that im going to fix it im just asking is it bad becouse when i bought my car one of the mechanic asked me if i wanted my exhaust to sound a little louder so he did that but at that time i didnt know and i just found out i just wanted to know if it will bring me problems future and is it damaging to the engine or bad in anyway. I will fix it

where is the leak at in the exhaust? i would say anything behind the cats wouldnt hurt a thing, but before the cats could possibly do some harm

No the leak is all the way at the end were the pipe connects to the cannister Its an OEM exhaust

Just wanted to know if it would cause anydamage now or down the road i cant ask a simple question. Or is it bad asking questions in a forum.

It won't do any harm, it is just an exhaust leak. There are tons of old pickup trucks that have had them for years.
