In my opinion, the looks alone amake this a must own piece. I get more compliments on this than the body kit or the Vortech!! As far as gains, I am not sure about that.

If I remember correctly, kentix web site claims some fairly significant gains.

I got one, lets hope it makes gains. I'm sure they're there. You just need a tune or a helper mod like TB upgrade or cams to make it shine.

Its an awful lot of money for a mod that needs another mod to see gains...Its overpriced to me anyway.

Nope, I wouldn't waste the money-

Crawford or APS. If that design was a performance oriented product, you could bet that other companies would come out with similar designs

SSVs gains aren't worth the money.

I've heard mixed reviews about the Kinetix SSV. If you plan on staying NA, then there are less expensive alternatives that will produce similar results (such as the Crawford or APS plenums, as well as the AAM or Motordyne spacers).

On the other hand, if you plan on going FI, then the SSV should be well worth your money. The Kinetix site suggests that the SSV was optimized for FI applications.

Hope this helps.

I like mine. Clean and just as good as other ones out there. Also you get to keep the stock FSTB witch is waaay better than alternatives.

Maybe the intake manifold is about $100/hp or $200/hp. Is that an acceptable cost?

i plan on going FI eventually. Plus this one looks real pretty. thats one reason i bought it. The other reason is that it fits the stock strut bar which all the other ones didnt, except the spacers which are prone to leaking especially w/ FI. I like this one the best.

^Why would you say spacers are prone to leaking?

i went to a shop the other day that was doing a turbo on a z with this plenum that was making less hp than stock when it was NA. they also said that it was running very very lean. take of it what you will, ive heard this is more of an FI plenum anyway.
